MONTH OF November

You’ve got a lot to say this month, and at long last, some of your ideas could really gain momentum. With the Sun in Scorpio and your outspoken ninth house until November 21, and a Scorpio new moon handing you the mic on November 1, you won’t hold back. Do you have a vision to bring the divided world together? An idea for how we can coexist or put our energy into something that brings hope back? This planet needs to hear from you, Pisces!

Midmonth, you can really cut the sandbags and soar. Restrictive Saturn ends a nearly five-month retrograde in YOUR sign, which probably felt like house arrest for you since June 29. That same day, a Taurus full moon beams into your communication zone and gives you the floor once again.

A couple days later, on November 19, Pluto slips into Aquarius and your spiritual, healing twelfth house for a solid 20-year run. And when Sagittarius season catalyzes your career sector for a month starting November 21, you might bring some of those visions to life through your work and ambitions.

Pace yourself, though, because communication and technology planet Mercury is retrograde from November 25 to December 15, backing through Sagittarius and throwing a few curveballs into your professional plans. Backup all your data, watch what you send through the company email and know that some projects or deals might not wrap until the new year.

In the meantime, focus on those big and bold ideas. While the Sun sails through Scorpio and your visionary ninth house until November 21, you’re in the mood for expansion and adventure. And, let’s face it, a distraction is needed from the peak U.S. election anxiety that’s far too much for your sensitive Pisces soul! Get reacquainted with your bucket list and add a few new items to it. Then get busy making plans to achieve some of these dreams.

The ninth house rules travel, entrepreneurship, study and publishing. You’re hungry for new ideas and experiences—and eager to share the brilliant ideas that are pinging your brain at warp speed. Find a platform or use the one you’ve got, Pisces. And don’t feel like you have to do it alone. The Sun in this adventurous and horizon-expanding sector heartily encourages you to team up with a diverse group of people. Don’t worry if it’s just a handful of you taking on a giant challenge. Before you know it, your efforts could create a snowball effect.

Despite all the nail-biting at the ballot box, the November 1 Scorpio new moon is here to help you see limitless possibilities. While it can be hard to “reach across the aisle” when the political IS so personal, an honest conversation today could still open up new levels of closeness and mutuality. Or, shift your focus to a wider angle. With your metaphysical mind this active, dots start connecting, and you can see the bigger picture on just about everything.

Craving new vistas and fresh inspiration? Travel, study or even a little staycation can get your groove back. Your mind will be hungry for novelty, so whatever you do, swing far out of your comfort zone under this new moon. Thinking of starting a business or an independent media project? With the Scorpio moon forming a helpful trine to structured Saturn in Pisces, your creative and enterprising moves get an extra boost.

And you’ve had plenty of those colorful notions this fall, Pisces! On November 3, Mars wraps a two-month visit to Cancer and your amorous, dramatic fifth house. Since September 4, you’ve been quite the wild child, pursuing pleasure, enjoying attention, perhaps attracting romance and fame. Your imagination has also been immeasurable. Exhilarating and exhausting at once!

If you’ve had your hedonistic fill—or all the intensity has you feeling a little overwhelmed, hungover and grumpy—you’ll be glad to know that Mars is moving into Leo and your sensible, systematic sixth house on November 3, for the rest of the year!

But before that happens, a final diva moment awaits. During its final hours in Cancer, Mars will clash with shadowy Pluto, which is in Capricorn and your eleventh house of friendship and teamwork. You may feel unspoken pressure to go along with a group plan that doesn’t feel like a fit for you. A jealous friend might try to undermine you, stirring the pot or setting you up to get emotionally triggered. Since Pluto rules the unconscious, someone could act out in a selfish manner—and the more you react, the worse it will get. Rise above and don’t get dragged into the drama, Pisces! It’s time to focus on you.

Once Mars moves into Leo and your healthy, pragmatic sixth house, you’ll return to your senses. And if you managed to dodge a reactive outburst, you’ll be glad you didn’t take the bait. For the rest of the month, lean into this active energy and get your heart rate pumping. There won’t be any winter energy slumps for you if you start now!

Caveat: Mars turns retrograde on December 6, and it remains in Leo until January 6. Pace yourself and get good routines in place now so you can ride out the retrograde. Slow down and pay attention to your surroundings, too! Hasty Mars here can make you accident-prone, especially if you rush. Be sure to warm up and cool down when you work out, and remember, the holiday season is no time to cut out an entire food group or get extreme.

On November 15, the skies serve up two fortuitous transits. Heavy-handed Saturn loosens its grip when it ends a five-month retrograde through Pisces, powering forward in your first house of self. That same day, the Taurus full moon rides in with changemaker Uranus in tow, activating your third house of communication and community.

Saturn is making a long tour through your sign, from March 2023 until February 2026, which has helped your empathetic sign approach structure and boundaries from a mature, new perspective. Saturn will make a brief dip into Aries, from May 24 to September 1, 2025. That’s when you’ll really get to flex your new wings before the ringed planet leaves for good.

For context, Saturn only visits your sign every 29 years or so. It’s a profound period that can tear down and rebuild an entire part of your life. Your identity has been under total makeover (or at least, a big renovation) for the past three years. With Saturn in your first house of appearance, you may have changed your style as well as your overall look. This is the planet that rules time (Saturn is also known as Chronos, the root of “chronological”), and you may have embraced the markers of age and wisdom rather than trying to erase or fight them.

Beyond the surface, Saturn’s main mission is to make you take an unflinching look at your priorities and pursuits, and ensure that they’re aligned with your values. Are you spending your time and energy on things that matter to you? Investing in yourself? Or are you taking care of everyone else’s needs first? During the retrograde, you may have had a no-BS look at this energy distribution and hopefully seen ways to course correct.

And if you’ve been suppressing or silencing your authentic voice, that’s about to end! On November 15, the Taurus full moon beams straight into your third house of communication and community, unblocking your throat chakra. You’ve got a message to share, and it’s about to come pouring out, whether you expected it to or not.

Take to the apps and social feeds with your inspired ideas since this moon will travel in a tight twosome with tech-savvy, innovative Uranus. Is it time to launch that podcast or YouTube show, Pisces? Progressive Uranus inspires you to come forth with an uplifting message. Or, get out in your community to lend a hand with holiday giving efforts.

Heads up: With everyone’s nerves frazzled by the U.S. election season, choose your words with care. Shock-jock Uranus can tempt you to blurt out an edgy opinion without really thinking through your message. Read the room. Deliver your radical ideas with some modicum of sensitivity.

A few days later, the month’s most tide-turning transit arrives: On November 19, transformational Pluto FINALLY leaves Capricorn for good. It plunges into Aquarius and your twelfth house of spirituality, the unconscious and the imagination for a 20-year journey )through January 19, 2044)!

The Pisces Posse has been going through a long, slow revolution since January 2008, when Pluto began its visit to Capricorn and your eleventh house of groups and friends. You’ve learned, possibly through some tough lessons, that who you associate with can be both a reflection and a projection. If your inner circle looks nothing like it did a decade ago, no surprise. Pluto’s 16-year journey through Capricorn revolutionized your social and ideological leanings in a big way.

Now, Pluto’s move into Aquarius brings your inner work much closer to home. As the twelfth and final sign, you’re the native ruler of the zodiac’s twelfth house, so this is familiar terrain. However, Pluto’s intense presence will sharpen your psychic radar and heighten your natural empathic abilities. You’ll be hyper-attuned to the energies around you, possibly even channeling spirits in your midst. It will be crucial to “shield your field” to avoid getting dragged into other people’s issues—a tendency you already have.

With Pluto in your twelfth house, the saying “as within, so without” will show up in large-print messaging. Your main job is to keep your own spiritual side of the street tidy. If you need to forgive someone for the sake of your own mental and emotional freedom, Pluto will guide you through the process. This is the planet of “shadow work,” so it won’t be a fast or easy process. But as you shed layers, you’ll realize how much weight you’ve been carrying.

You have a choice: stay stuck in the lowlands of your own psyche and soul by holding onto anger, resentment, guilt and blame—or get support to work through it and find healthy management tools. You’ll gain power choosing the latter, freeing yourself to use your powerful artistic or healing gifts to transform others. Be extra discerning about who you let into your inner circle from here forward, though. Once they’re in, it will be hard to get ‘em out!

A great way to transition into this new Pluto cycle? Get clear about your goals and priorities, then see who’s aligned with them. That will be easier to do after November 21, when the Sun starts its monthlong visit to Sagittarius and your ambitious, success-driven tenth house. Finish 2024 strong by getting clear on your next phase of growth and setting concrete milestones.

But before you can really dive into those, you may need to complete some unfinished business. On November 25, communication planet Mercury goes retrograde in Sagittarius until December 15, its final U-turn of the year. Retrogrades turn our attention to the past, demanding that we complete what we’ve started before forging into a new phase.

Mercury retrograde is notorious for scrambling signals with technology, travel and communication. You’ll need to be extra careful with your professional interactions now, which will be dicey as everyone tries to wrap up projects before the holidays and meet those year-end goals.

The tenth house also rules men and fathers. As Mercury backtracks through Sagittarius, this could bring untimely misunderstandings with your dad or an important man before the holidays. Combined with work-related hassles that could spill into your vacation time if you’re not careful, you might want to get gift shopping and travel plans done early. And try to avoid triggering topics around the tables where you gather. Nip any problems in the bud as soon as you see them, and even hold off on a too-ambitious project until the new year.

The same goes for any big pitches or year-end reviews. For some Pisces, your plans could get some pushback, and a client or boss could drive you up the wall, firing eleventh-hour demands or trying to offload work onto you right before the holidays. Prepare to repeat yourself, clarify and confirm—as often as necessary to make sure everyone stays on the same page!

Okay, Pisces, if you’re serious about this whole power couple fantasy, November is your month to go for it! Until November 11, Venus is in Sagittarius and your ambitious tenth house. After that, it moves into Capricorn and your eleventh house of society and teamwork. This should serve plenty of incentive to chase a shared dream and to take on the world as a dynamic duo!

Is there an entrepreneurial vision that could bring together your complementary skills? Perhaps your partner’s groundedness and affinity for details can help bring your creative genius to life. Take the helm! Make sure to invite your inner circles to the party, too. Venus in Capricorn can turn up the heat with a platonic friend. For couples, it’s an ideal time to host parties and mingle with mutual friends.

While the first week of the month could find you more focused on where things are headed in the relationship, this next Venus phase (which lasts through December 7) could whet your appetite for freedom. A little breathing room please! Finding that line between giving each other space and showing up for one another requires some savviness when sexy Mars is in Leo from November 3 to January 6, heating up your helpful sixth house. “Acts of service” as a love language take on a whole new level of importance. Find ways to “be there” for each other, showing your dedication to helping your love interest win in life, but without smothering each other.

By the same token, be sure to keep some boundaries in place. Supportive is hot; sacrificing is not. If things start trending into caretaking and coaching each other, curb that codependence. When Mars turns retrograde on December 6, the tendency to creep into unhealthy, if well-intentioned meddling, can brew strong.

Spending the first part of the holiday season with a special someone? Plan ahead, Pisces. Trickster Mercury is retrograde November 25 to December 15. You could easily be served up a dose of miscommunication, travel drama, and delayed plans. Buckle up and stay flexible—this retrograde may bring curveballs and plenty of “they said WHAT?!” moments—especially after Mars joins the retrograde brigade on December 6. Getting on the same page will be difficult!

Remember, Pisces, your needs are just as important as everyone else’s. You don’t have to perpetually swim upstream. Ask for what you need. Take extra care to be direct. A few of these strategies will have you getting what you actually want!

There are no limits, Pisces. Not this month, anyway! The Sun soars through Scorpio and your expansive ninth house until November 21. This energy can help you push past any career plateaus that may have you feeling stagnant. Since the ninth house rules higher education, consider enrolling in a mind-enhancing workshop or taking a class to diversify your repertoire. Tap your inner entrepreneur—or continue fueling the one you’ve already unleashed—and explore your larger purpose in life beyond a regular paycheck.

Structured Saturn ends its nearly five-month retrograde in Pisces on November 15, making it MUCH easier to map out clear goals and start taking action on them. If you’ve felt overwhelmed by life’s demands or developed a case of imposter syndrome since the retrograde began on June 29, expect that to resolve now.

Exciting news could arrive later that day (November 15) with the annual Taurus full moon sweeping into your communication and media sector. Seeds planted back in May at the Taurus new moon could start to bloom under la luna’s moonrays. Waiting for an answer on a project? News may finally arrive. Green light? Go for it! Disappointing news? Onward!

On November 21, the Sun starts its annual four-week sojourn into Sagittarius and your career zone, stoking your ambition and putting your accomplishments in lights. We hate to break it to you, but this year’s Sagittarius season features a Mercury retrograde from November 25 to December 15, which could turn the office party punch sour. As Mercury reverses through Sagittarius, you might need to downsize or park a few of your lofty goals until next year. Silver lining? You can use this time to revise them and make them even better!

While trickster Mercury could obstruct project deadlines, it’s not all bad! Mercury’s reversal offers a chance to slow your pace and revisit professional goals. A question worth considering: “Does my passion need to align with my purpose?” Could Team Pisces use an overhaul or a few new faces? With Mars in Leo heating up your sixth house of work and helpful people from November 3 to January 6 (turning retrograde December 6), taking a wide-angle assessment of roles and goals will help you move into 2025 feeling much more in charge of it all.
