English: Coat of Arms of the Italian region of Apulia.
Italiano: Stemma della regione Puglia, in formato vettoriale.
Lo stemma della regione Puglia è costituito da uno scudo, a sua volta sormontato da una corona "federiciana", dedicata a Federico II di Svevia. Lo scudo racchiude alla sua sommità sei cerchi, che rappresentano le sei province pugliesi. Il corpo centrale è costituito da un ottagono nel cui centro campeggia l'albero d'ulivo, simbolo di pace e fratellanza. L'ottagono invece, rappresenta Castel del Monte, costruzione di origine medievale, che costituisce uno degli itinerari turistico-culturali più suggestivi della Regione. I colori dominanti dello stemma sono l'oro, l'argento, il rosso e l'azzurro del mare. La legge regionale n. 8 del 2011 (modifica agli allegati A, B e C della legge regionale 8 settembre 1988, n. 28 - adozione dello stemma e del gonfalone della regione Puglia), ha aggiunto allo stemma ufficiale della regione Puglia, al gonfalone e al sigillo regionale, un sesto cerchio nella parte superiore dello scudo sannitico, ad indicare la sesta provincia pugliese Barletta-Andria-Trani, istituita recentemente, in aggiunta alle cinque originarie. |
