Blood Sugar vs. FoP

Everything you are reading is coming from my internet.

Bad effect of using twitter

When I was addicted to writing diary, I always thought about diary. Even if I think about what I would not write in diary, I thouht like writing diary. I started writing diary in English one week ago, so I sometimes think things in English now. Talking to himself in English is reccomended for practice, but I have never tried it because I felt it's strange. Thinking like writing diary in English is easier for me.

I mostly have been using twitter over the past several years. During this time, my thought was separated by each 140 characters. However, I am able to think over 140 characters limit now.

Legendary FF11 player Buront

I love reading funny text which looks confused but has discipline. One of my favorite funny text writer is legendary FF11 player Buront. You can find his text here. I tried to translate one of his text to English. I'm not sure if I succeeded to express his characteristic style of writing and thinking behind the text.

>>199
As was expected, Kai is better than Sol...
Got it now >>199 thank you
Like, Holy Knight Sol is no less power of devil
The flying figure with flame deserves the single word "MAXIMUM STRENGTH" in addition finally long-awaited aura realization is accomplished!
By blasting aura up, without hitting up the opponent, nonetheless coming closer "You've been there..." gives the enemy fear and there are no spaces to escape except upsides, which are already the firing range of Volcanic
The enemy seems to want to escape but there is no space, he has no way as "Being caught between Tigers at the front gate and king gods at the front gate"
Put simply 200-202 are poor ordinary people manipulated by information
Such a sword made by ice can not be superior to the flame sword
However from all appearances Sol has crushingly better strength and is flame, there is no factor to let him be defeated, so I agree 199

This post is about fighting game characters, Kai and Sol. When an average person, like me, thinks about fighting game character, we consider the character's performance with data, their hit point, move damage or starting-up frame, etc.

However, Buront uses in-game factors to do it. He says an ice sword can't bring down a flame sword. He sometimes mixes up the character and player. In his text, the character feels fear, not the player.

This confusion is common among his other posts. He doesn't talk about the player feeling. He talks about "Knight". It's not even a character. It's a job, which is a type of characters. He looks like to identify the player with the character. This is confusion, but he is consistently confused. I think this consistency is an essential point of funny text.

Writing diaries in English by someone whose friends don't read in English

Hi All!

My name is K2Da. K2Da is not my real name, but it's an ID that I'm using in some internet services. Since I have been writing diaries for over 8 years with this ID, I have some friends who knows me as K2Da. I have been managing carefully not to connect this ID with my real name, I have 2 types of friends. Who knows me as K2Da and who knows me with my real name.

I'm going to start writing diaries in English in order to improve my English writing skill. My friends may read this entry if it's in Japanese. However, it's in English in fact, so I think they will not read. The number of assumed readers of this article is 0, of which concept is attributed to India.

It's hard for me to write in English and no one will read this article. Actually, I like to give it up already. I have to look for the reason why it's good to write diaries in English to complete this entry.

I have found out some merits as following:

  1. Improving my English writing skill
  2. Possibility to communicate with non Japanese speakers

Above 2 merits are reasonable. However, we have better services for these purposes. For example, we may be able to get some advices from English speakers with Lang8, which is a language exchange SNS for diary writers. If I have only 2 above merits, I need to change to use lang8.

What is the merit that Lang8 doesn't have but hateblo has? I think it's openness. We must login Lang8 to see or comment on most of lang8 diaries. We can modify our lang8 diary to be visible for not logging users, but I think SNS and blogs have different cultures.

We can refer to other entries and articles with blogs and exchange opinions. When I write entries in English, I have another merit. Most of Japanese don't like to read English entries. Even if I write a very aggressive article to other blogs, I think they just ignore it, or they can't understand my entry because of my poor English. Countering my article is more painful. "Why do I need to counter his opinion in English? Both of us understand Japanese language. This is nonsense. His opinion is completely wrong, but I just ignore it...". We can get safe place in the "Blogsphere" by using English to make mention of other blogs!! This is a huge merit, right?
