Make A Splash Week - Day 3

August 3, 2022

Hi there!

Elena here, with a card featuring Make A Splash:

I stamped out the fox and rubber ducky from Make A Splash, but also brought in the floatie-wearing bear from Beachy. To make it look like he's floating in the water with his friends, I wiped off the ink from his legs before stamping down. Then, I used a black pen to re-draw the bottom of the floatie. After die-cutting the image, I used scissors to just snip off the space under the floatie. An easy alteration, and a fun way to stretch your stamps!

I gave the images a pool to play in, with the Oval Scene Die. I added wavy lines and water splashes to fill in the space.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Make A Splash Week - Day 1

August 1, 2022

Hi everyone!

Amy here with a mini slimline card for more fun in the sun this summer!

The scene was created using the Slimline Borders Elle-ments to make the border and wave.  To make ink blending easier, the sun ray sky was done with a standard stencil on colored cardstock and a darker ink.  This gives the look that I was going for without a lot of blending!  Since I used Distress Inks, a fine mist of water was done over the wave for added texture.

The images from Make a Splash were all Copic colored, die cut, and added to the scene using foam adhesive.  The beach ball image was added from Beachy.  A few die cut clouds from Oval Scene Elle-ments and a banner from Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments for the sentiment.

Beachy Week - Day 5

July 29, 2022

Hi Everyone! I'm wrapping up the week with Beachy!

I created a fun little scene using several stamps from the Beachy set. I also realized that the die cut of After All looks like a sandcastle so I thought that it would make a fun background!

I've been enjoying the beach with my family this summer and also saving time to create! I can't wait to see what you create!

Beachy Week - Day 2

July 26, 2022

Hi everyone!
Amy here with a mid-summer card for those "sunny" days!!!

The Beachy stamp set is so fun with lots of adorable images to create your own beach scene!  The background was done by ink blending a die cut (using the Slimline Borders Elements) over and over to create a blue, summer sky.  The beach was ink blended lightly with a brown ink.  The focal point was made using the Oval Burst Elle-ments and adding it with foam adhesive to the background.

The beach elements were all Copic colored, die cut, and added to the scene with foam adhesive.  For some sparkle, Crystal Stickles was added to the images.  The sentiment was stamped onto a banner die from Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments.

Here's to some sunny summer days!!!

Beachy Week - Day 1

July 25, 2022

Hi all! It's Deasy here. Today I want to share my card for Avery Elle featuring Beachy. This stamp set is perfect for summer card and it's so fun!

Avery Elle supply that I'm using :

Beachy Stamp Set for the images and sentiment

Beachy Elle-ments to die cut the images

Pierced Ray Frame Elle-ments to die cut the frame

I stamp, color the images using copic then die cut it. The sentiment is from white embossing powder. To color the background, I'm using dye ink pad with blending tool then splash water with a brush. I add some clear sequins for the embellishment.

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Hugs,

Melania Deasy
