Drupal & Online Social Networking Platforms | Drupal.org
So, I'm a huge Drupal fan, working on several of my own Drupal-based site, and also a user of platforms like Tribe.net. While Tribe.net, Friendster.com, Orkut.com, etc platforms provide significant FOAF-based communities, they are essentially "walled gardens"... Where do platforms that foster "local" communities like Drupal, Moodle, etc fit into this equation? IMHO, I can foresee a "meshed-online-
