Pierrot Co., Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社ぴえろ )[1] is an animation studio located in Tokyo, Japan, that was founded in 1979 by former employees of the Tatsunoko Production and Mushi Production companies. Having worked on many animated shows in the past, Pierrot joined the production team for The Legend of Korra to animate seven episodes of Book Two: Spirits under the direction of Studio Mir , the company previously hired to animate the series.
