Victorian Christmas Children

Well it's December 16th and only 9 days until Christmas. I just can't believe it! Every year it sneaks up faster and faster it seems and I'm always rushing around to play catch up. Today I'm really feeling in the Christmas spirit because we got a couple of inches of snow and everything is White. It's just perfect. Now I will say I'm not looking for another snow season like last year with 2 huge blizzards. I really don't want 3 feet of snow dropping in 24 hours again, but a nice little covering for Christmas, I'll take.
Today I've posted some more lovely Victorian Christmas Postcards with Children. They really are just beautiful. I especially like the one of the little girl in her Christmas dress with her dolly. I hope you will find some fun creative uses for them!

Joy To the World Snowman

Here is a fun little Snowman that I did.  I drew the star and snowman with pen & ink then scanned and converted them into illustrator and colorized them. So it's a combination of traditional art and computer.  It's sized to fit a 5x7 card.  Happy Holidays!

Starfish Christmas

Today I've uploaded one of my watercolors that I did a few years back.  I thought it would make a cute Christmas Card for someone who lived near the ocean, so I sized it to fit a 5 x 7 card.  Enjoy!

Vintage Santa Claus Head Graphic

Here is a really awesome Vintage Santa that I imagine is probably circa 1940s-50s.  He's such a wonderful whimsical Santa with the jolly happy eyes and smile.  Part of his beard was cut off on the original image so I went back in and redid his beard to look more finished.  I also smoothed out his skin with the smudge tool and made him a blue eyed Santa.  I hope you will be able to find something fun to do with this fella!  Enjoy
