Healing

As long as I can ~ I will look at this world for both of us.
As long as I can ~I will laugh with the birds,
I will sing with the flowers,
I will pray to the stars, for both of us.

March 19th was the one year anniversary of losing my sister.
I've been working hard on restoring my soul
and finding the joy in living again.

I hope you all have been well.

Much love and many blessings.

Finding Happiness

May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day.
May songbirds serenade you every step along the way.
May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue.
And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.

In Memory

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart,
and you shall see that in truth
you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

Where Moths are Drawn

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy,
and where thieves break in and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust destroys,
and where thieves do not break in and steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

~Matthew 6:19-21

This plant is Nicotiana~
which draws the moths in at night by its
enticing smell.

Purity

...whatever is true
whatever is honorable
whatever is just
whatever is pure
whatever is lovely
whatever is commendable
if there is any excellence
if there is anything worthy of praise
think about these things.

Gentleness Inside

Sweet is the memory of distant friends~
Like the mellow rays of the departing sun,
it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart.

Looking for the Bright Side

The year's at the spring
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hillside's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven -
All's right with the world.
~Robert Browning

A Heavenward View

So often... I want to bow my head in sorrow and sadness.
But I try to remember to hold my head up and gaze toward Heaven~
where my sweet sister now lives.
Every look Heavenward holds so much meaning now.
