It's amazing how a little paint can really make something sparkle or it give a fresh look when you thought it was drab and surely needed replacing before. A cheap yet effective option. I need to take my paint brush to things around our home. And I need to be more adventurous just like these fabulous pink stairs! Kellie xx
From here. x
I really struggle with being brave with paint as well. I know the impact it can have and how relatively cheap of a change it can be, but...well I just get scared to paint certain things lol
ReplyDeleteLove those pink stairs!!
The fantastic thing about paint is, we can always find are way to the next best color that peeks our interest on another day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThose pink stairs are great! I just love how a can of paint can transform a space and change the mood of a room. Just as long as you don't have to paint the ceilings! I was sore for days after doing that! Have fun painting!:)-Jennifer
ReplyDeleteHow pinky! hee. :)
ReplyDeleteI have this one saved in my 'must-do-one-day-when-i-have-the-dream-house' file Kellie! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous picture Kellie, thanks so much for sharing! I love it:) I love the pink stairs but I love those little pieces of Robin Egg blue, they just seem to make the pink stairs pop! Just gorgeous!! Have a wonderful Monday - Tx

Oh Kellie,
ReplyDeleteIf only I could be that brave. I'm afraid it's not in me to use brightly coloured paint..... but, I don't choose bright colours as I know that I will tire of them very quickly although, I admire people who do. XXXX
The pink just adds a little extra something. I think it freshens up the house with that little pop of colour.
ReplyDeleteHello!

Aloha,
ReplyDeleteI absolutey love paint for a few reasons.
It is economical
it can completely change a space
it creates a clean fresh feeling
it offers good exercise and a sense of accomplishment
And if it is the wrong color?? you paint over it!
The best painting tip I ever got was to use baby blue as a primer color when trying to paint over a dark color. Works great and you don't have to use tons of coats to enjoy your fresh new color:)
Aloha
Brandi
