STEP 1 Pick a topic and briefly state why Topic: Plagiarism
Select a Topic
you are interested in knowing
more/sharing what you know about
that topic. In this fast-changing world, conducting
research or having an inquiry is truly essential
for this is our instrument to be heard, or for the
truth to be found out. Teaching the nature of
plagiarism advocates Academic Integrity, it
helps instill a sense of honesty and integrity in
all the students, making the quality of original
work in their classes effective; for it also
increases Ethical Awareness in terms of
intellectual property, where the students will
be aware that if it is not their work, they should
have a concrete citation where their Skill
Development improves and encourage them
to develop research, citation, and writing skills
necessary for academic and professional
success. Knowing plagiarism also avoids the
risk of consequences, such as breaking the
law, having penalties, and most importantly, it
damages their reputation.
In conclusion, teaching plagiarism is a
fundamental aspect that prepares students
like us for ethical and responsible engagement
in both academic and professional settings. It
promotes respect for others’ work and it helps
us become holistic individuals that has a goal
to make this world a better place to live on.

What do people you know think What we know about Plagiarism is that it is

● What could we show or tell or work without giving them proper credit or

of your own. Some individuals view plagiarism
as an advancement towards to good grades,
and they focus on the “easy” way to do their
jobs because they will just get others work and
pass it without referring to the author’s name.

We should define plagiarism clearly. Begin

with a clear and concise definition of
plagiarism, and explain that it involves using
someone else’s work, ideas, or words without
giving proper credit to others’ work. We must
show real life examples of instances where
there is plagiarism and highlight on the
consequences the individual faced; and lastly,
we must teach how to quote and cite properly,
we must show its importance and have them
practice how to cite and quote and show them
how it contributes to a wonderful output. By
having a discrete process on how we will
discuss it, we can help a reader grasp the
concept of plagiarism and understand its
significance on our daily lives.

We can have an interview on different

We want to find out about the law that
stands against plagiarism, its nature and how
we will make the reader understand and be
aware of the consequences of engaging to this

links and texts that will support our idea on
advocating awareness towards plagiarism;
And leave the value of respect towards not
just to others’ work, but also to us and improve
our quality of work without having to get what
others work hard for.
Through having a brainstorming on what
each of us know about what plagiarism is,
Ivhan, Alysa, Anna Jean, Sandara, Wrena will
know more and search for other information
with regards to plagiarism, while Vincent will
conduct an interview to other people and
