Alma's xylophone toy, Xyla, loses a key while being repaired for a loose screw, and Doc McStuffins helps her get back to playing music again.
Recap
Donny and Alma are pretending to be in a band in the backyard, when Doc passes by them. They invite her to join them as she plays the kazoo, with Lambie as their audience. The three play music, until Alma begins having difficulties with her xylophone, when one of the keys begins to sound different from all the others. Donny tries to offer her a tambourine, but Alma says that she wants to play her xylophone like she always do. She gets upset and doesn't want to be in the band anymore, but Doc confirms her that she can fix it. While Donny and Alma go to have lunch together, Doc takes the xylophone, Xyla, to the clinic.
In the clinic, the rest of the toys are excited to meet Xyla, as they love her music. However, Xyla is upset when she hears that one of her keys is not working correctly, so Doc gives her a check-up. During her examination, Doc finds out that one of Xyla's keys is loose, and diagnoses her with "Loose Key Syndrome", meaning that one of the screws on her keys is loose, which causes that key's sound to be off. Xyla is troubled about sounding different, but Lambie tells her she still sounds pretty. Doc assures Xyla she'll tighten the screw, and her key will be fixed. While trying to hold the screw in place, for Doc to tighten with a screwdriver, Stuffy accidentally pulls out the screw, and the key falls down the drain! Xyla is distraught, but Doc tells her not to worry. When she was young, she lost a tooth, but soon, a new one grew in to replace it! She informs Xyla that she can replace her missing key with a new one from her box of toy parts. Doc finds a new key, and soon, the new key is installed, and Xyla is fixed! Xyla is glad to be fixed, and she thanks the rest of the toys before Doc takes her back to Alma. Alma is happy to have Xyla back, and dedicates a song to Doc, thanking her.
