King Lucifer is hailed as the grand lord of all demons. In the few appearances that he makes, he is depicted as being very complacent and easily amused at human entertainment, particularly their literature and their children's cartoon shows. At a glance, one might say he is a very unimpressive being. However, he can be serious when the situation demands for it. He does appear to be prideful in his title as he refused to be called "grandfather" by Ann. On the other hand, he is also fairly responsible as he insisted that Beelzebub do his homework and even tempers his video game playing.
Physical appearance[]
King Lucifer is an impossibly tall man, with a muscular physique, pink skin, a pair of large black horns, black widow's peak hear and a beard, and pointy ears. He wears a purple jump suit of sorts, tall leather brown boots, and a long white cape with a collar.
Trivia[]
In the original Japanese version, his name is bluntly "Satan". This is because in Japanese culture, Christianity only makes up a small portion of the population and thus is not taken too seriously. When VIZ Media translated the manga, his name was changed to the more acceptable Lucifer.
Lucifer's design is basically a recycle of the character Dabura from Dragon Ball Z. Akira Toriyama admitted that this was his vision of the typical image of a demon and couldn't think of another look for the character.
