C.C.'s Spa & Resort is a location featured in Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It is supposedly a safe haven and training ground of sorts for demigods headed by Circe, but is actually a trap.
Background[]
Description[]
The resort resembles a Caribbean inspired building with a tall central tower with smaller buildings surrounding it. The main color scheme is a peachy color with multicolored glass windows all about. There are occasionally floral and oceanic patterns scattered throughout. It appears on the coast of an island. There is a shoal nearby where Sirens are present. Despite the island having a back, due to the Sea of Monsters's supernatural aura, it is impossible to leave the island that way.
Sections[]
- Circe's Office: The sorceress Circe's primary conduction area. It is full of caged animals (all implied to be victims who discovered her secret) and thus is very noisy. She has a mirror that she uses to look into people's "fatal flaws" so that she can "help" them.
- Observation Deck: The tallest tower includes a room at the top that has a telescope that allows people to view the exterior of the resort and the adjoining coast line. The inhabitants use this room to see if people can get past the Sirens.
- Dock: The exterior dock of the resort has numerous boats (implied to be from travelers who have become stuck there). Among the boats seen include Blackbeard's famous Queen Anne's Revenge.
