Tech for Good at Zendesk
How this all got started
As a technology company, Zendesk recognizes its role in shaping economies, and its obligation to help promote opportunity and equality.
While we have given community grants and volunteer time away for years, our Tech for Good program had a modest start in 2016. In 2019, the program grew rapidly into what it is today: a comprehensive program donating both software, time, and money to organizations tackling a wide range of social causes. We have donated over $7M in product to over 110 nonprofits globally. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our tools provided critical support as over 350,000 users opened tickets through donated Zendesk software. When our tools make a difference for our customers, we’re thrilled. When they’re put to work for a community in crisis, we’re humbled.
