Mildred L. Williamson, 92 of Holland, Ohio, formerly of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at 4:40 PM, Friday, November 8, 2024, at Genacross Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek in Holland. She was born Wednesday, June 15, 1932, in Jacksonville, FL the youngest daughter of Albert Jackson and Pearl Alberta (Dempster) Jackson.

Mildred retired from the United States Department of Defense, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Civilian Air Force, following many years of service in October of 1990. Following her retirement she moved to Toledo to be close to her daughter, Shelia and her family. While living in Toledo, she was a member of Cornerstone Church.

Mildred was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Until Mildred’s passing, she served as matriarch for five generations of her family.

Mildred is survived by three children, Sondra (Kenneth) Wooten of Zanesville, Shelia (Larry) Saunders of Toledo and Viktoria Holloway of Orange County, CA; three grandsons; eight great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephew.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Harley Jackson; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna & Joe Mitchell, Margaret & Richard Williamson and Cora Lee & Gary McAfee and three infant brothers.

Friends may call Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with Rev.
