Elvira R. Cline, 74 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice. She was born Friday, February 24, 1950, in Franklin, PA the daughter of Kenneth Kelley and Muriel (Griffin) Kelley. She married Dave Cline on Saturday, June 7, 1969, and was Methodist by Faith.
Elvira enjoyed working in many different areas throughout her life and retired from Gabe’s Department Store. She enjoyed gardening, rides in the car and playing games. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
Elvira is survived by her husband, Dave Cline; three children, Michelle (Eddie) Boyle, David (Susanne Ault) Cline and Nick Cline; three grandchildren, Madelyn Boyle, Deven Boyle and Owen Cline; six siblings, Kate Moyer, Thomas (Alma) Kelly, Donna Kelly, Bucky Kelley, Gary (Louise) Kelley, and Karen Kelley; one brother-in-law, Steve Mallery and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Elvira was preceded in death by one sister, Daisy Mallery; her sister & brother-in-law, Nancy & Wayne Pierce; her sister-in-law, Grace Kelley and one brother-in-law, Jim Moyer
Friends may call Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where services will follow at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muskingum Animal Shelter Society, 1430 Newark Road, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
