International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from voestalpine to modernize the electrical and automation systems of a hot-dip galvanizing production line at its Linz steel plant in Austria.

The production line has been continuously modernized since its operation in 1973. This time ANDRITZ will introduce a unified and user-friendly system to improve operational efficiency. To reduce the impact on production, the transformation will be carried out in phases and is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.

This order highlighted the long-term and solid partnership between ANDRITZ and voestalpine.
