For one of our shops, we have again resorted to modules from XTENTO, as these extend the shop with important functions. In addition, the quality and the support, if it is needed, is super and fast. That's why we like to get our extensions from XTENTO.
We already use the "Order Export" extension several times and it always serves us well. In addition, XTENTO Suport is fast, helpful and good. The extensions can be recommended without reservation.
We've used this Order Export extension on a few Magento stores now. It's very flexible and allows so much more control of the data that can be exported from the store that we find it to be an essential part of our Magento setup. This excellent module offers a lot of control over the order export task. It’s very flexible with plenty of options and formats. Works like a charm and is a real time saver. Self-explanatory operation so was no need to request support which I do believe is the same good as product itself.

I have been involved in the design, build-out and ongoing support of numerous Magento Open Source v1 and v2 stores over 8+ years. Each site brings its own challenges, but using XTENTO extensions is an absolute pleasure.
XTENTO code is high quality, very well supported with a comprehensive knowledge base and responsive, personable support technicians.
XTENTO extensions just work. Extensions from other providers often need in-place modifications, which comes with a time cost and invariably a delay while work is undertaken.
XTENTO products focus on important tasks, and undertake them perfectly. The 'scattergun' approach of other vendors to cover every feature is nowhere to be seen.
I have never had a problem with any XTENTO extension. I wholeheartedly recommend XTENTO for their service, their people and their code.
I want to say how awesome XTENTO is. We have a few of their extensions on every one of our web stores. We recently had to build a store in multiple languages for the first time, and realized that their Order Export module only exported the items in the language that the order was placed in. Since we don't speak all of these languages, it was not easy to report on items (had to create lookup tables, etc). Sebastian and the team at XTENTO added new functionality for their Order Export extension that enables you to now export various attributes in the admin language or the language that the order that the order was placed in (v. 2.5.3). Also, I've never had a single issue with bugs or unexpected behavior with any of their extensions. They simply work.

Magento Order Export Module works perfect for our needs. We use the module to create csv-files with shipping information and delivery addresses.
Xtento is really our best Magento 2 extension partner so far! We have installed about 15 modules from 10 different suppliers. But none of them have been this nice and helpful!
And I really like that you keep updating the modules and keep a good change log. (This is actually really important, some developers don’t keep a change log or skips dates in the change log.)

This extension works very good! You can copy the code form the site and change it yourself if needed. If you can't yourself, Xtento will do for a very small amount. They have great support, I am a very happy returning customer, recommend them to all my customers.

I have used the Order Export module on three projects over the years and it has saved me and my client a lot of time. From the start, it is well-written and very easy to install. It is one of the most flexible 3rd party modules making the export of order and customer data a simple process. If that was not enough, the support (both documentation and e-mail) is top notch. This is by far the most reliable support and product I've encountered.
We've had a great experience with the Xtento plugins we've picked, and the order export is no exception to that. It has worked very well for us and once you get the export profile format configured to your specs it should be smooth sailing from then on.

This is a much overdue review of the Sales Order Export and Order Tracking import. I'm very happy with the extensions that I've purchased from xtento and love their flexibility and robustness. We use Magento much differently than most in a B2B environment and the extensions have been able to handle any bizarre use case that I've thrown at it, and have been able to simply how I do customer notifications via email using the export email HTML templates and the rules and conditions available on product, order, and customer attributes that I would have had to write much more complex templates and logic through localization.
On the rare occasion when I've needed support, they've been quick with answers, a rare patch if needed, or additional functionality that I gladly paid for to get added to the base product knowing that my investment will be paid back in spades over time. I can't say enough good things about xtento.
I set a very specific export by my own thanks to this plugin by learning some basics knowlege in xslt. We use the Magento 2 version of the plugins

We use it to export orders to different Backends to handle the ordes. We needed an extension which supports different formats and different upload/export destinations. As well as the mapping from internal skus to external product numbers. The extension is very flexible and the customization is very easy if you read the examples and documentation. We recommend this extension and developer.

I am using this to export custom xml for integration into an older order fulfillment system.
I was able to get my orders exporting in afternoon with relatively minimal set up in my magento store. This has saved me sooooo much time and will surely help in the future for outputting data. The event based output and overall flexibility of the software is excellent. I would highly recommend this.
Once you've configured your destinations properly and your desired output profiles this works great, so long as your magento cron is enabled. This is a wonderful extension!
We've used the order export module a number of times now. The installation and configuration processes have been completely faultless each time and the customer service is quick, helpful and friendly.
I highly recommend this module if you're looking for a reliable solution for exporting your orders. It's very highly customisable, the export format can be altered to match virtually any requirement. The export template profiles are written in xsl and are pretty easy to edit but if you're not comfortable doing this XTENTO offer a service where they will create the export template for you. In each occurrence of us requiring this service they have been able to complete the profile creation the same day.
We're very happy with this module and XTENTO as a whole, their other modules are also well worth looking at. Specifically their product export module. I look forward to using more of their modules in the future!
We use V-Log as shipping software and developping an interface for Magento would have been very expensive. This extension gives us the possibility to export the xml directly into V-Log.

For a store with more then 20 orders per day, this one is mandatory. I'ts saves hours of manual work every day for my client. They would never go with Magento if this extension did not exists.
With the custom xml output file, you are free to use almost any other system/service to handle the orders.

We bought this extension in order to export and produce a csv file with suitable address and order data to import into the Royal Mail's RMDMO system.
The module works as described, we managed to produce a suitable csv file.
We had to adjust one of the XML templates that were provided with the extension and with a bit of tinkering it did what we wanted. It was a bit fiddly (adjusting the template), but at the end of the day it did everything it was advertised to do, without needing any support from the developer.
XTENTO also offer a service to produce the template if required.
After we got it working, we realised that XTENTO also produce a RMDMO integration which will hopefully allow us to produce a csv file needed for the address labels via an easier method.
Our communications with XTENTO have been very positive and we always get quick replies to our enquiries.
XTENTO are also kindly allowing us to upgrade to the integration instead of using this extension, although the extension is doing everything it is advertised to do.
This extension can be customized to export anything related to your orders. Simply awesome!

Very good Extension! Described perfectly and is a good tools to use like a report sales. After exporting the fields that you want, with Excel and Dynamic Tables you can achieve the information as you want.

Great extension, we used it to be able to automatically export the necessary order/product data to another company who does our logistics. Without this extension (and the product feed export module), it would have been almost impossible to continuously export all the data to the other company.
Especially the wiki is very good. With the wiki-guides you are able to quickly configure the modules. All the necessary information was available and we didn't face a single issue.

Even smaller Magento stores quickly reach the stage they when they need to start to integrate systems. This extension allows us to export lots of sales data for custom reporting, allows us to export files ready for our Sage account system among other applications. It's always risky choosing an extension provider with so much duplication in the market. This extension by XTENTO feels solid, comes with great support and allows you to get the best out of Magento.

This is a great extension. The code is clean, installed without conflict feels like its been well tested before rollout. I haven't encountered any buggy behaviour.
The functionality is very flexible and lets you customise things to suit your organisation. Many other order export modules force you to work in a certain way - this one can be tailored to suit yours and added to as things change.
Be aware though that you will need to be comfortable coding in XSLT in order to generate output - it isn't just a case of checkbox selecting what columns you want. This does create a learning curve but I think its better in the long run as it gives you the flexibility. If you don't want to dive into the XSLT yourself they will do it for you but I believe there is a charge for the service.
This extension does exactly what it claims to, and the developer support is first rate.
It's a bit technical to configure, but that's what makes it so powerful. There are good docs on the developer's website to help you get to grips with it, including a few working examples. If you can't work it out, for a small fee the developers will write you a custom config.
I was really impressed with the features - we wanted to FTP an order export to a remote server, for which I thought we'd have to write our own transfer script. However, this is one of the many features of this module. What's more it only took a couple of minutes to configure this aspect of it and it worked first time.

This is probably the best Magento extension I've ever used. If you need to export orders regularly, then saves a huge amount of time. Can be triggered by cron or by events. I've used it to export to web services, ftp and email.
It also includes excellent testing support and facilities to manually re-export orders. It also has excellent logging and history.
The documentation is good and the support is excellent.
This extension was EXACTLY what I needed for my website. It's super easy to setup, as long as you have basic XML skills, or you can use one of their sample templates and build your export off of that.
Their support team (Sebastian & Thomas) were awesome with their response times to help me with a few issues I had with my cron jobs.

If you use multiple vendors for dropshipping, this is a must have tool. You can configure xml or csv files in every format your vendor needs and send in various formats, like ftp or mail.
We are very pleased with it. We had the installation done, which was done in the same day and gave us no trouble.
I had some additional questions about setting up the xsl templates, which were answered quickly.
This tool saves us a lot of time on a daily base.

This addon saved us weeks of development and is highly customizable to your need. Some of the functions we'd never come up with. In the past weeks we've automated the whole fulfillment process with our warehouse with the extensions of XTENTO. They work seemlessly from the start, do exactly what is promised, without an error!
But with what we are by far the most satisfied is their setup service and support. Response times are incredible and their patients never runs out!

Yet another amazing XTENTO Plugin! Can export huge or small batches of orders with any attribute you could possibly think of to export with a product. Easy XSL editor and guide included lets you set up CSV files however you want with as many attributes (including custom ones) as you want. Automation is outstanding to and saves a ton of time when processing orders.
Quit wasting time manually handling orders and buy this plugin!!
We needed to connect magento to our backend finance applications that only support import by xml. I don't mean a simple export file in xml format (office) but a custom structured xml file. If you need the same don;t look futher there aren't any extentions that can compete.
XTENTO order export extension is rock stable, fast en very well thought out. It contains all the features you need to automate the order export process.
If you don't have much time (like we do) or you aren't that familiar with creating xls templates, we can recommend the xls template creation service by xtento. For that price we didn't want to do the work our self.
Support is in just one word "Great".
If Sebastian would create a true xml product import extension (please do!) we will buy it immediately.

We purchased the extension to export orders to our account system. The installation was easy and although some of the fields in the example files are different from the fields in our 1.9 install, the "Show Fields Available for Export" feature made it really easy to export the data we needed to two separate CSV files.
The "Show Fields Available for Export" is an awesome feature as it also shows the data related to whatever order number you enter. This makes it easy to navigate through Magento's many, many fields and find what you need if you aren't sure what the field is called.
I just want to say: wow. This extension is out of this world. So amazingly powerful, flexible and easy to use. The documentation wiki for it is very in depth and really easy to understand.
Magento is notoriously tricky to work with at times, and I was worried about being able to create the file structure required for our Inventory software to ingest orders from Magento as we have quite a unique format.
However, this extension's flexibility, depth and features allowed me to create a totally unique, cronjob'd CSV output in under 1 hour of tweaking.
I had one minor support request (was my fault anyway) and the XTENTO team replied within a few hours. So there is great, friendly support to boot!
If all extensions (and Magento itself) were as well thought out, tested and documented as this extension we'd all have a few less greys.

We use this extension from xtento for 8 month now.
The installation and setup was easy because of good documentation and fast support. The extension runs stable. We export the orders from magento and process them in our erp system. The extension changes the status after export. Currently we use the flat csv export but we want to use the xml format in future because we use an configuration tool in magento so we will share the product_options with the erp system.
We use the cron mode, so every 10 minutes all new orders get exported in the proper format.
Great feature is the support of php functions while exporting the data, e.g. for changing date or currency formats or for extracting data e.g. from the product options.
For development you can show available export fields and get an export file with current output setup for an existing order.
We use this extension to export orders to our ERP AccountView. It works easy and was easy to install. The support is excellent! I had some questions and they offered to change the output template for me. It's working like we wanted it!

I cannot believe I waited to buy this. This has made my job much easier in not having to deal with the poor reporting system included with Magento. Setting up the profiles may be moderate to advanced depending on how comfortable you are with languages like XSL/XML but there are enough examples out there for you to somewhat pick and choose your way through it. I wish I would have bought this months ago
The product works as promised. The export process is fast and easy. I also purchased the tracking# import extension and it also works great. The export extension is flexible enough to fit our special needs.
We use order exporting for syncing sales to our in house ERP system. This works exactly as it should, exporting to a dedicated FTP server.
This is indeed a highly customizable, perfect working Module for Magento.
My question to the support got answered within two hours (!) I don't know if this reaction time is usual for every request, but it was excellent in my case.

I won't write a lot about the features, because I think this is self-explanatory. The features-list is big and nearly any aspect of problems to be solved with exporting structured data is covered.
What I want to emphasize is the very quick and straight foreward support. We had a time gap and contacted the support for advice, it only took 40 minutes for response. Same experience we made with a custom, paid solution.

This is an amazing extension. Very versatile and is regularly updated and enhanced. Support from Xtento is second to none and a few simple pointers by email allowed me to create all the templates I needed in no time at all. I use it to create email sales alerts, picking lists, labels, Royal Mail DMO imports, Interlink Express imports and in the process streamlined the whole process. Xtento are always my first stop when I'm looking for a new extension as the quality of their code and support is just first class.
We have been using the complete suite of XTENTO modules and have been able to interface with a wide range of EDI systems, and even create workflows for vendors that do not have EDI.
The modules are so well built you will wish XTENTO made more Magento modules! When you need them, XTENTO support is top-notch.
We do a lot of custom reporting and without this extension we would be lost. The latest version has made our process significantly more efficient by allowing multiple export profiles that can all be managed separate from one another. The quality of XTENTO's product is one that all Magento developers should aim to achieve.
I have worked with this extension on a couple of installations and it works great.
Setup of the export profile can be complex for a newbie depending on what data you need to extract. But for a fee you can get help setting up your profile. Support is competent, they answer emails fairly quickly and they keep their deadlines.
If you have skills or time to go through the documentation you can make complicated export profiles yourself, it is a very flexible extension to work with.

The flexibility of this solution is truly outstanding and has been indispensable to me during a long and meandering project where specifications and requirements have changed from one week to the next. The built in filters and tools work very well and the use of XSL templates means that a complex array of logic functions and translations can be applied to your order data, allowing you to output this information to meet the formatting requirements of third party systems.

Not only does this extension work brilliantly for exporting all kinds of store information, it is extremely flexible as well. The developer came back very quickly with helpful answers to my queries too.
I barely write reviews because most of the time extensions and the support of the company is good but not excellent. In this case, I need to make an exception as my experience with XTENTO is above average.
The order export module is incredible flexible:
* multiple export destinations, even webservices or custom classes within 1 profile!
* manipulation of fielddata, which is needed in specific cases. Did not find any solution which could do this until I found this one.
And if you need help, then you have Sebastian and his collegues to support. I am really glad I have found XTENTO.
The order export Extension is in use by us for over 4 years now, we have used it to connect Magento to DPD Shipping Software, DHL Easylog and for our store in France to Quadra Accounting and Invoicing Software.
With some customisation of the Magento Customer Database and with some Excel Acrobatic, we are now even able to generate detailed Sales reports.
Since we have first installed the module four years ago, the module has undergone major updates including a total rewrite of the code, and it has gotten better ever since.
Two thumbs up.
Installation and usability is easy as expexted (and all other modules from xtento).
The XML setup was a little tricky, but the developers from XTENTO were very helpful and solved even our crude requirements. Thumbs up and 5 stars for this module.

I bought this to export orders to a warehouse for one of our sites but this has since become the single most useful addition to my Magento stores.
In addition to exporting orders automatically each day for the warehouse we use this to export all our financial reporting data, export promotions and coupon codes with companies like Groupon, the list goes on.
Also the support has been fantastic.
To get the most out of it you will need to invest a little time in understanding how to build the XSL queries but once you understand the basics this is really valuable.

This is an excellent extension taht give you a lot of control over the export of order data from a Magento site. We had a couple of small teething issues upon installation but Sebastian from XTENTO has been brilliant providing exceptionally quick support to get everything working well.

We needed a very specific task to run when an order was created and the Order Export Module achieved this for us. When an order is created, the module automatically creates a CSV file and emails it through to us.

I was looking for a module to import orders in UPS and Postnl apps. I read about a lot of solutions on different sites but none of them was so flexible as this solution from XTENTO so this was the first reason to buy it. The second reason was because of all the good reviews about the XTENTO team. The reviews came out (fast response, friendly emails and a lot of patience with the customer). I surely come back to this company to buy similar solutions once I need it for my shop.

I have used three order export extensions from reputable developers, XTENTO's is the most well thought out and flexible, especially when it comes to integrating the data with third-party systems like fulfillment houses. The XSL templates are flexible and can easily bent to meet any requirement. Plus, Sebastian is great to lean on when it comes to answering questions about the extension. That said, i recommend this extension for jobs where specific export requirements have to be met.

We used a custom order export module using an API connection to our warehouse to process our orders. XTENTO listened and understood our requirements and added value to the process with their understanding of Magento and the business.
Once we installed the extension and started testing the export their support was first hand in making sure it all worked as per the spec. They even interacted with the 3rd party IT provider at the warehouse to get things running.
Overall we now have a slick order export system with the flexibility we require to manage our business. We are really pleased with the performance and would recommend XTENTO to anyone because of their commitment to both pre and post-sales customer support.

The plugin works great and is pretty flexible, but the support you'll receive is the best.
I just left a reply to another comment below and mentioned how easy it was to modify code to export data via SFTP and SOAP.
I'd also like to add my own review here about XTENTO's support. I've been building eCommerce sites since 1997 and Sebastian's support is among the best I've ever received. He even helped me troubleshoot a problem caused by another plugin that was poorly coded and interfering with the export module.
The module is a great value for it's price. I wish it had a few more features like being able to store multiple XSL configs and selecting one from dropdown on export page. Also some kind of versioning of configs to make rollbacks possible. But these are just my wishlist, and the plugin works great as is.
Excellent extension. I use the HTTP post ability to send my order data to Zoho Reports nightly. now that I have my order data there, I can quickly make reports on the fly - don't need the inadequate 'Reports' section of Magento. Couldn't have done it without Sebastian's help. thanks.
This is a really great extension and equally importantly, the support is top notch: timely, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with.
I purchased this extension to integrate with a shipping/fulfilment company's automated system. There were some setup issues due to the sketchy/incomplete/incorrect(!) information the fulfilment company supplied, but Sebastian worked through the problems with great patience and good humour until everything was set up correctly and working as intended.
I would be more than happy to thoroughly recommend both XTENTO extensions and Sebastian's services to anyone.

Xtento's Order Export Extension is really, really great! With a lot of options I use it to export orders to a back-office application, and to export data to TNT Parcelware. Hi, just saw your extension! Nice work. Just curious, is there an across the board export to CSV file that has ALL the correct fields both for products and categories that is made that is available for either purchase or download somewhere? I would love to have that so I can just do it in Excel and then import it all instead of having to do it one by one. Where it will create the category, with cat_id, products, etc with all of the fields that are in the magento system.

I looked at a number of different methods of exporting order data and found this early on. I tried out a couple of other methods (adding orders to Import/Export procedure) and other inferior but cheaper/free extensions.
This is by far the best in terms of functionality and appears to have the ability to do so much more than our current needs which makes me think it will be very valuable in the future.
Also - the level of support from the developer is second to none.
My only suggestion for improvement would be a more novice-friendly admin interface for setting up the export profiles. Perhaps a checkbox system for what fields to export. I appreciate the XML template system is great for those with the know-how and it should definitely stay there, but another easier method might also be useful for some people.

We purchased this extension to export order information in CSV format for use in another system. I can honestly say that this was, by far, the best extension for an open source application I’ve ever dealt with. The installation does not modify any of the core code. The integration of the module in the admin is very intuitive. In addition, it’s obvious that the feature set was well designed. One of our initial concerns/requirements with such a module, especially when attempting to run it in an automated process, was how it would know which orders were already exported. This module tracks that information for you so that you never have to worry about duplicate exports. It also allows you to update the status of the order after export.
Admittedly, the price seemed a little high for an open source application. However, when you factor in the hours it will save you from building this functionality, it is an amazing bargain. It took me (a Magento novice) about 2 hours to install, configure and produce final output. We’re using this on v1.3.2.4.
Open Source is an amazing transition in code development and I can’t thank the contributors to Magento enough (obviously a big thank you goes out to Varien themselves) but I’d like to also put in a special mention for Sebastian.
Much like GreyWolf, he’s also saved my bacon. I run a fragrance store and was in desperate need of the ability to export orders in a way that my fulfillment partner required it. Up until i came across the ‘order export’ module, developed by Sebastian, I was doing it by hand and cursing all the way… mainly because I just don’t have time to build these files by hand, plus human error being what it is… I could see it getting ugly real quick.

As you know, I got a little misinformation when I started this Magento project, as I was told at a convention that Magento could export orders. What I didn’t realize was that I had to be a professional developer and code writer to accomplish that end. I was ready to quit Magento, after all that work with 400+ categories and 16,000 products. You saved me with your Order Export Module. I also really appreciate your patience in working with my POS people. It runs great and I’m back on schedule to take on our busy season, which is just around the corner. I would recommend your module to anyone. Great Work!
