Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) donors & partners: WHO says thank you!
COVID-19 Response Fund
The WHO’s global Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan (SPRP) mid-term report gives a snapshot of the global scale of WHO's work to put the SPRP 2021 into action from February to August 2021, highlighting some of the impact in countries. This update includes an update to the 2021 appeal for US$1.96 billion to fund the Organization's essential role in ending the acute phase of the pandemic. As of September 2021, WHO still faces a funding gap of almost US$900 million to cover the period till March 2022. WHO thanks all contributors to date, and launches an urgent call for the international community to fund the gap fully and flexibly so WHO can play its global role in tackling the pandemic.
