Grace Griffin is a digital producer for Here & Now. She writes and edits articles for hereandnow.org, helps manage the show's Facebook and Instagram accounts, and hosts videos on the Here & Now TikTok. She also works closely with the podcast team on Here & Now Anytime and sometimes produces radio segments.
Back in 2023, Griffin produced a radio segment and digital story featuring Chappell Roan ahead of her debut album release that shot her to global stardom in 2024. She also produced a piece featuring Yseult, the French pop star who captivated audiences with her performance at the 2024 Olympics closing ceremony. Griffin also put her countless hours spent watching reality television to good use in producing a piece about Real Housewife of Salt Lake City Jen Shah’s arrest and criminal trial playing out for public consumption on TV.
Before joining the Here & Now team, Griffin worked as a digital producer for a number of Gannett-owned local newspapers in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico. Prior to that, she worked as a homepage producer and correspondent for The Boston Globe’s metro, living/arts and cannabis sections. She also covered the legal marijuana industry in Massachusetts on a freelance basis.
Griffin graduated from Emerson College in 2020 with a degree in journalism, art history and gender studies.
She is also a self-taught printmaker — specializing in linocut and screenprinting — and fiber artist; catch her at local makers’ markets all year round. She lives in Boston and spends most of her time hanging out with her cat, trying new restaurants around the city, making strange art and watching horror movies.
