Brands and corporates

Deliver on your social impact objectives, unite your teams and audiences behind shared values, and tell a unique story about your brand by partnering with us.

Together we can make a difference.

Whether you’re a global law firm, a fast-growing tech company, or a small fashion start-up we are keen to work with you to identify the ways in which you can make a difference to children affected by conflict. Together, we will co-create a partnership grounded in purpose, that reflects your priorities and that has genuine and sustainable impact.

Though our cause might seem quite specific at first, our mission and programmes actually relate to a number of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) most notably goals 1, 4, 5, 8, 10, 16, and 17. We appreciate that companies and brands often have very specific ambitions when it comes to their social impact.

With this in mind, we have developed a number of impact themes that reflect the work that we do such as empowering voices, education, mental health, and shelter and protection, to help frame the stories that we tell through our partnerships.

Our impact themes

With our impact themes we hope to make it easier for partners to find a narrative that resonates with them and their audience, and that can act as a source of inspiration and content as our partnership develops. Find out more about these themes below.

Voices should be encouraged, listened to, and respected. Sadly though, every year, millions of children go seen and not heard. Their voices drowned out, silenced or simply ignored; the result, the world too easily carries on as though nothing is wrong.  Work with us to amplify children’s voices, to share their stories and experiences, and to put the power to shape the future in their hands, where it belongs.

It is often during the chaos of conflict when children are at their most vulnerable, that the legal systems and structures that we all rely on to protect us fail. Make a stand with us to help children defend, demand and realise their rights; together, let’s see the end of the exploitation and abuse made possible by chaos.

Enjoying a childhood should be a right, not a privilege, but sadly millions of children have the joyful experience of being a child taken from them through no fault of their own, when they are forced into circumstances most people would deem intolerable. Work with us to ensure that more children get to be children.

Shelter is a fundamental need, but it is one of first things to be tragically robbed from children caught in conflict zones. The lack of a safe space to call home can have a profound impact on a child’s wellbeing and development, and the effects can last a lifetime. Partner with us to help provide fundamental protection and a small respite from the relentless savagery of war.

Successful recovery from conflict requires people to reconnect and reintegrate with their families, their communities and themselves. Work with us to help rebuild connected communities that provide a solid foundation for childhood development.

An education provides more than just the skills required to succeed in life, it also provides structure and a support system. For those children whose lives have been torn apart by war, access to an education makes all the difference. Work with us to build a world where being born in the wrong place at the wrong time isn’t a life sentence, a world where every child has the chance to fulfil their potential.

Your start in life shouldn’t determine where you end up, but without direct and sustained investment the social and economic scars of war can take a very long time to heal. Work with us to help the communities recovering from conflict get back on their feet.

We all know that our minds matter, but when talking about the effects of war, people only really focus on the visible scars that get left behind. Work with War Child to help children come to terms with and overcome, their experiences.

How we work with brands and corporates

High impact direct actions

Either in the form of strategic partnership opportunities or corporate philanthropy, high impact actions are an incredibly powerful way for companies to achieve their corporate-social-responsibility objectives and assist in the delivery of more efficient and ambitious programmes. We can work together to solve specific or difficult challenges faced by our teams around the world, or collaborate to find a way for your organisation to directly contribute to our programs and operations. We trust that every organisation has something to bring to the table, and we are excited to find out what impact you might have.

Brand and awareness activations

This could be anything from a product CRM to a media appeal or cause-related advocacy campaign, we partner with authentic brands who want to make a stand. Working together, we can engage your customers in new and interesting ways, and create mass awareness to promote and improve sales, all whilst supporting children in conflict zones. As a well-respected and recognised charity brand, we are known for our creativity and innovation. We have experience developing successful partnerships with big brands such as the Body Shop and Vivienne Westwood and we are always keen to help the next brand find their purpose.

Employee engagement

We have a record of delivering award-winning partnerships with companies of all sizes, from UK-based businesses to international organisations with thousands of employees stationed around the world, we understand how much you value your staff. Through participation in a tailored selection of events, products and campaigns, such as Donate Your Day and Peace Band, a charity partnership with War Child will boost morale by uniting your team behind a common goal and improve work-life balance, job satisfaction and staff retention.
