An easy and tax-efficient way for you to make a regular donation to War Child and support children living in war zones around the world.
It allows you to donate straight from your salary before tax is deducted, meaning you save money on your charitable gift. For example, if you choose to give £10 a month, only £8 will be deducted from your gross monthly salary and the remaining £2 will come from the Inland Revenue.
You can choose your Payroll Giving donation amount and change or cancel your gift to War Child at any time, simply by informing your payroll department at work.
How will my Payroll Giving donation help?
Your Payroll Giving donation will be used to fund our life-saving work in Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq and Yemen. By providing access to food, education, toys and psychological care to children who have lost everything, your gift will ensure children and their families can survive, and have hope for a much brighter future.
Some employers offer a matched giving scheme, which means they will double the amount you give to War Child each month. Ask your employer if they’re part of the Matched Giving Payroll Scheme to find out more.
How do I set up my Payroll Giving donation?
To start your regular donation to War Child through your salary, simply speak to your employer and they’ll be able to help set this up for you. Once they have processed your Payroll Giving request, your gift will be made directly from your salary to War Child each payday.
Giving to War Child through your payroll is a great way to transform the lives of children living in war zones.
