There may be a reboot of The Office going on elsewhere, but Steve Carell’s getting back to the sitcom on his own terms. He’s reuniting with his Date Night co-star Tina Fey for her new Netflix comedy series The Four Seasonsbased on the 1981 Alan Alda movie of the same name following three couples that all take quarterly vacations together. Carell and Fey played a married couple whose normal (boring) domestic life goes awry in Date Night, but everybody knows that the real best Fey and Carell partnership was when they shared the Thursday night NBC comedy block with 30 Rock and The Office airing alongside Parks and Recreation and Community. If Four Seasons the TV show follows the same path as the movie, then they’ll need two more couples. We’d suggest they draw from that lineup again: maybe Amy Poehler from Parks and Rec and Danny Pudi from Community could pair up as a couple of weirdos. How about 30 Rock’s Judah Friedlander and Parks and Rec’s Retta as really horny couple? Last suggestion: The Office’s Creed Bratton should be gay married to Community’s Donald Glover. (He’s not too busy for that, we promise.)
