Who were you when Severance season one premiered? All those years ago, in early 2022, we were all younger, purer, with no idea about what awaited us in terms of “office-life discourse.” Now, the second season of the show executive produced and directed by Ben Stiller is finally premiering and the tagline is “return to office.” Oof. The first trailer for season two of AppleTV+’s Severance debuted on October 23, and it’s enough to have you running around the office yelling “She’s alive!” There’s “missing” posters being printed out of Mrs. Casey (Dichen Lachman). There’s a bust carved out of fruit; Lumon’s idea of a good time. And then, at the end, there’s Mark (Adam Scott) walking into his office to find a whole new group of co-workers there, including Alia Shawkat. What are you doing here?
