Elon Musk (boo!) was dragged on TikTok (yay!) and then tweeted something annoying about it (of course). Chloe Fineman of Saturday Night Live said that Musk made her cry when he hosted the show in 2021. “I’m gonna come out and say, at long last, that I’m the cast member that he made cry, and he’s the host that made someone cry,” she revealed in a since-deleted TikTok on November 11, referencing a comment Bowen Yang made on Watch What Happens Live that the worst SNL host was a man who made someone cry. “I stayed up all night writing the sketch. I was so excited. I came in, I asked if you had any questions, and you stared at me like you were firing me from Tesla,” Fineman said. Then she did a Musk impression, saying, “It’s not funnay.” The sketch, however, made it in, and “I thought you were really funny in it,” she said.

Musk responded, as he is wont to do, on his platform X. “Frankly, it was only on the Thursday before the Saturday that ANY of the sketches generated laughs,” he wrote. “I was worried. I was like damn my SNL appearance is going to be so fucking unfunny that it will make a crackhead sober!! But then it worked out in the end.” Uhhh … and this is going to be a little rude to both parties … Did it? Because all that most people remember is Musk fumbling through lines while dressed as Wario. Not exactly laughing with him.
