Cher knows that you want to know why she’s out and about with a man nearly 40 years younger than her. Now she’s got a reason that should finally kill your nosy speculation: “Men my age or older, well, now they’re all dead.” Can’t argue with that! Cher made the admission on The Jennifer Hudson Show without explicitly referring to the 38-year-old music executive she’s been spending time with, Alexander Edwards. She continued that older men — before they died, anyway — “were always terrified to approach me,” and she’s “kind of shy around men” anyway. One man who wasn’t intimidated by her? Elvis Presley, who Cher confirmed that she once turned down because she was “nervous of his reputation.” Not that she could date him now either, because, well.
