Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe Are Feuding Following a Hotel-Room Confrontation

In accordance with the standard theorem of celebrity feuds, two people known for feuding with everyone, Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe, must eventually feud with each other. On Saturday, Crowe hosted a party at the Beverly Hills Hotel; RZA and his guest Azealia Banks were in attendance. Afterward, Banks alleged in a now-deleted Facebook post that the Oscar-winning actor choked her and spat on her before throwing her off the premises. Banks said that she “wanted to die” and that “the men in the room let it happen.” TMZ, however, has a differing set of reports, and cites eyewitnesses. They claim that “the trouble started when Azealia laughed out loud at Russell’s music selection, and then called him and at least one other guest ‘boring white men.’” Then, after another guest told Banks to pipe down, she allegedly threatened the rest of the room, saying, “You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino shit.” When Banks reached for her glass and cocked it back, Crowe supposedly “grabbed her in a bear hug” and removed her from the hotel suite before calling hotel security. In her post, Banks said that Crowe used the N-word against her; TMZ, citing eyewitnesses and RZA himself, says only Banks used the word.

After the Banks-Russell feud made it to her Facebook and TMZ, Banks responded by doubling down on her story and filing a police report against Crowe, according to a second TMZ story. Crowe’s reps, according to TMZ, would not apologize to Banks “because he insists he did nothing wrong.” With these two parties involved, we’re sure the feud will never escalate further.
