Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Russell Crowe Hosting Saturday Night Live in April

It’s hard to remember given all she’s done since, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus was once an SNL cast member, and not just for one lone Downey-Juniorian season — she was on it for three whole years! The sketch show will likely remind us of that fact on April 16, when Louis-Dreyfus returns to host for the third time. (She previously hosted twice during the Old Christine era.) The week before brings a Studio 8H newcomer: Russell Crowe, promoting The Nice Guys, who will stop by for his first stint on April 9. It’s unclear which cast members will play the other 29 feet of grunts. For musical guests, Crowe gets country artist Margo Price, while Louis-Dreyfus gets anthropomorphic abdominal muscle Nick Jonas. Now that’s a power couple we’d like to see.
