Royalty & Fashion Royalty Came Out To Celebrate The Launch Of Tom Parker Bowlesâs Cooking & The Crown
How better to celebrate Tom Parker Bowlesâs latest cookbook Cooking and the Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III than with a party to toast all those who brought it to life? Of course, the guest of honour was Tomâs mother, the Queen, who spoke animatedly with British Vogueâs head of editorial content Chioma Nnadi as host Ewan Venters welcomed guests to The Audley in Mayfair. Other guests included Freddie Windsor, Jemima Khan, Geordie Greig, Maureen Lipman and Charlotte Tilbury.
Tomâs father, brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles (with a dazzling dahlia buttonhole from his Gloucestershire garden) and sister Laura Lopes, stood alongside the Queen as Tom gave a typically charming speech, opening with a toast âto the King and Queen, without whom this wouldnât have been possibleâ, and quipping that his previous books had ânever threatened Harry Potterâ in the charts. Guests ate Scotch eggs and Coronation chicken sandwiches, poring over recipes for salmon fishcakes and the Kingâs Wet Martini while waiting for Tom to sign their copy of the book. Step inside the night, below.
