Soho House Now Does Skincare – And It’s Like A Green Juice For Your Face

From London to New York, Rome to Berlin, a visit to any of Soho House’s global outposts once meant luxurious body care and shampoo on tap, but if you forgot to pack that trusty cleanser? Serum? You were well and truly stuck – until now. 

Soho Skin is the chic new 11-piece skincare line from the members club, which guarantees all guests will be well looked after in the skincare department, wherever they are in the world. “All of
the products in the range restore skin’s cellular energy and build goodness from the inside out,” explains Aalish Yorke-Long, managing director of retail at Soho House, who has the data to back it up. 

Far from a vanity project – as naysayers might assume – the brand enlisted the help of Soho House’s discerning guests and members to understand first what they wanted from their skincare, and then their thoughts on formulations, which were fine-tuned accordingly. “The skincare market can be overwhelming and there is a real fatigue among our membership of using overdosed actives that can sometimes be too abrasive for the skin,” she adds. “It was important that we streamlined our formulas and delivered products that support, nourish and de-stress skin.”

At the heart of the line is the Soho Skin Concentrate, an ingredient that Jessica Sproson, the brand’s skincare consultant, describes as “a multivitamin and energy shot for your skin”. With glycogen, pistacia lentiscus gum and the probiotic lactococcus ferment lysate, each formula works synergistically to strengthen the microbiome, plump, firm and hydrate.

Available to members and those who just want efficient, science-backed formulas in their lives, stand-outs from the range also include the peptide-packed Renewal Serum, £76, and 24/7 Treatment, £72, which employs lactic acid and hyaluronic acid to gently exfoliate and hydrate respectively. 

“It’s not always possible to get eight hours of sleep every night, but Soho Skin is like a green juice for the skin,” says Sproson. “It’s doing something on the inside that we know will show on the outside.”
