Arshad Sharif will receive Pride of Performance award in journalism category.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th March, 2019) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor has congratulated anchorperson Arshad Sharif for being nominated for ‘Pride of Performance’ award in journalism.
Taking to Twitter, the DG ISPR from his personal account wrote, “Congrats Arshad Sharif on nomination for ‘Pride of Performance’ Award in Journalism. Deservingly.”
Other people are also congratulating the journalist for being nominated for the award.
The government on Sunday issued the list of people who will be conferred with civil awards on March 23.

President Dr Arif Alvi will confer civil awards on Pakistan Day ceremony to be held on March 23.
At least 127 foreign and Pakistani nationals will be awarded for services in their respective fields where anchorperson Arshad Sharif will receive Pride of Performance award in journalism category.
Legendary cricketers Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis will be awarded with Hilal-e-Imtiaz in sports category.
Film actress Babra Sharif will receive Sitara-i-Imtiaz while Mehwish Hayat will be conferred with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
Renowned singer Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi will be awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz in singing category.
