You thought I was "joking" about Hungary's intention to revise Trianon - and then some. Keep "laughing". Orban's commemoration speech from Thursday: Just... powerful. The world is
The Treaty of Trianon formally expired today, correcting one of the very greatest injustices of world history, which stranded three million ethnic Hungarians outside their country's borders. Worst day of every Hungarians' life is now formally annulled! Even as I write, reports are coming in that "Can't Turban the Orban" has ordered his armored divisions... Read More
The Hungarian Parliament just passed an extremely based and corona-pilled bill that, as summarized by journalist Balazs Csekö, gives Viktor Orban unlimited power and establishes: State of emergency Rule by decree Parliament suspended No elections Spreading fake news & rumors: up to 5 years in prison Leaving quarantine: up to 8 years in prison No... Bernard-Henri Lévy interviews Orban and writes about it in The Atlantic. This reminds me of when Putin allowed Masha Gessen to interview him. I don't really get why they do it. First, ideologues who hate you will not think or say any better of you for your "magnanimity". Indeed, BHL claims he doesn't believe Orban... Read More
Not a very eventful week. But I think the upcoming one will be more productive, and speaking of blogging in particular, with a couple of longreads. TIL I learned am a US-based Orthodox zealot. Moderation note: I am tired of Gerard2's scatalogy-laced attacks on AP clogging up every second thread. AP, please stop replying to... Read More
Haven't been following it closely, so will refrain from commenting on it myself. Polls: Matt Forney (who is currently living in Hungary) is optimistic on Fidesz/Orban. Some comments from region expert reiner Tor during the past month: 1 The most reputable Hungarian analyst thinks Fidesz will win a narrow majority on Sunday. But because of... Read More

Jared Taylor: Report from Budapest (Updated) Radix: The First Identitarian Congress Richard Spencer and one other person was detained in uncomfortable conditions for a... Read More
In the past few weeks, Hungary has been getting heat for moving to enact legislation that could close down the Central European University, a Budapest education institution founded by Soros. Ostensibly, this is because the CEU has unique ability to issue both Hungarian and American degrees, by dint of having accreditation in both countries. This... Read More
Hungary is opting for the latter: 10 million forints is about $35,000. You may recall that this is the exact same sum that George Soros is demanding that the EU pay each immigrant during just their first two years there. No wonder he and his minions hate Orban so
So following in the wake of the cool NRx kids I finally got round to making myself an Ask.fm account. Here it is: Feel free to ask me questions there. I can see the more thought-provoking questions ending up as individual blog posts. The first original question I got was (for whatever random reason) about... Read More
I am a blogger, thinker, and businessman in the SF Bay Area. I’m originally from Russia, spent many years in Britain, and studied at U.C. Berkeley.
One of my tenets is that ideologies tend to suck. As such, I hesitate about attaching labels to myself. That said, if it’s really necessary, I suppose “liberal-conservative neoreactionary” would be close enough.
Though I consider myself part of the Orthodox Church, my philosophy and spiritual views are more influenced by digital physics, Gnosticism, and Russian cosmism than anything specifically Judeo-Christian.
