Register
You can register online, if this is your first time registering online you will need to contact [email protected] to get your login credentials. If you are applying for a scholarship to attend an Outdoor Adventures trip, please complete the scholarship application prior to registering online. If awarded a trip scholarship, you will be provided a code to enter during your online registration. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

Apply for Scholarship
Outdoor Adventures has been provided scholarship funding for the remainder of our Spring 2025 trips! Please apply here prior to registering for the trip. If you are awarded a scholarship for the trip, we will provide a code to enter during registration. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
What’s Next
Attend a Pre-Trip Meeting
Only overnight and some custom day trips have pre-trip meetings. Pre-trip meetings are where you can find out more information about the trip, what exactly to expect, and get a chance to meet our trip leaders. After you register for the trip, you will be contacted by an Outdoor Adventure's staff with pre-trip meeting details.
Policies
Trip Canceled by Participant
- 17+ days prior to trip departure: 75% refund
- 8-16 days prior to trip departure: 50% refund
- 7 days prior to trip departure: No refund
For trips, if any permits were booked in your name, you will pay those at full cost.
Trip Canceled by Us
A full refund will be given if a trip is cancelled by UNLV Outdoor Adventures.
At this time, we do not allow minors on our trips, unless they are a UNLV student who is taking four or more credits and has a parent signature on their waiver
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is included in the trip price?

Our trips usually include round-trip transportation from UNLV, all gear needed to camp, outfitter costs, permit fees, and meals but read trip-specific itineraries for detailed information. Basically, you just bring your clothes and toiletries!
- Can I drive myself to the trip location?

We recommend riding to the trip location in our brand new UNLV vans because you’ll miss out on some amazing road-trip games if you don’t. However, driving to the trip location instead of taking our transportation may be allowed if given prior permission by the Program Coordinator. Also, transportation will have to be to and from in your own vehicle – you may not ride in the UNLV van at any point if you’ve chosen to take your own vehicle.
