Welcome TrekEarth users!
Hello everyone,
For those unaware, we recently, regrettably, shuttered another site. It was home to some of the best photos from around the world I've ever seen. We wanted to give the users of that site a second chance, where their diversity, worldliness, and talent would be appreciated. I could think of no better place than FlyerTalk's Travel Photography forum!
Trek users, you can get started by making an account and then going here: https://www.flyertalk.com/g/?filter=recent to create your photo albums. Or you can simply make a post and click the "paperclip" icon in the text editor!
Again, welcome!

Try this link for an overview of some site rules. Flyertalk can be overwhelming for first time users.

CorrieLeBon, Internet Brands decided it wasn't worth spending the money on keeping TrekEarth going. A major upgrade to the software would be required. As they hadn't put any effort into TE in several years it had been doomed for a long time.

That does suck and very sad. One of my favorite shots was on there and had a complete disaster and lost everything I had.

I'm afraid TrekEarth is gone and there is no way now to retrieve anything from the site. It had been hoped by members that TE could be left visible even if no activity was possible. IB (the owners of TrekEarth) weren't interested.
