We count on your support

Tierpark Berlin is home to a great many animals of various shapes and sizes – and they all need to be fed! Help Tierpark Berlin ensure its furry, feathered and scaly inhabitants get the nutrients they need. Alternatively, you can choose to donate to a specific fundraising project.

With a road network of 25 kilometers and a further ten kilometers of farm roads behind the scenes, our colleagues have been using an electric vehicle for years. Now the Department of Animal Health, Animal Welfare and Research would like a replacement for the outdated vehicle - thank you for any donation!

The winter has returned and not only has Berlin firmly in its grip. Ukraine is facing its second war winter, and with it, all Ukrainian zoos. For the employees and animals in Ukrainian zoos, survival has been at stake for almost two years. Since February 2022, we have been in close contact with colleagues on-site and, thanks to your donations and numerous deliveries of relief supplies, have been supporting several Ukrainian zoos, animal welfare, and species conservation projects. You can continue to help – every cent benefits the employees and animals in Ukraine.

For 40 years dholes have been living at Tierpark Berlin. Now, these critically endangered, bright red wild dogs are set to live in an even bigger space by gaining access on to an additional enclosure by autumn 2024. Before they can move, this enclosure - previously home to wolves - has to be updated and adapted to the needs of the dholes. To allow the creation of a new home as close to nature as possible, our colleagues and us would be very happy for any support.

The Tierpark’s team of veterinarians are in need of a new ultrasound scanner to help them carry out even better and more intensive check-ups on the animals in their care. Tierpark Berlin and all its animal residents would be grateful for any contribution towards the cost of this equipment.
