Meet Stephanie Young, Owner of Pro Image Painting LLC. Based in Londonderry, NH, Pro Image is a painting contractor that has been specializing in interior and exterior painting services since 2007—all thanks to Stephanie.
Her Journey Started Differently
When Stephanie finished school, she didn’t think she’d have a future in contracting. Originally, she wanted to be a dental hygienist. Then, she considered becoming an emergency medical technician. But finally, she decided to start a painting business after falling in love with the trade and the people it connected her to.
Pro Image’s Humble Beginnings
Pro Image started from humble beginnings. Stephanie drove an old truck and struggled to make any money for the first few years. But, she stuck with it and, eventually, things started to take off. After 9 years, she expanded to her first employee, training them step by step to achieve the same attention to detail Stephanie’s business was known for.
She Believes in Her People
Stephanie now has multiple employees who have been with her for more than 5 to 10 years. She knows how important it is to believe in these team members, train them the best she can, and to trust them to support her. Even though these people might leave and start their own businesses, she enjoys seeing people grow.
And Support Her, They Do
Stephanie knew shouldn’t be able to do this work forever. She’s had back and knee problems in the past, but since she had her employees to rely on, she was able to make it through those trials while feeling supported and without business suffering.
Other Endeavors
Stephanie has other endeavors as well. She owns Pro Image Painting Academy, where she helps professionals learn how to apply products, grow their businesses, and troubleshoot typical problems. She also created the Brush Wash, a product specially designed to clean brushes faster, and it’s widely available online.
Lifelong Customers
Many of Stephanie’s clients are repeat customers. She says that, every week, they’re serving customers she’s already worked for, whether it was 10 years ago or more recently. Repeat customers ensure that her business is able to continue succeeding as long as she trains her people well and continues to provide a top-quality product.
