CONCORD, Mass., MAY 22, 2020 — The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards, and This Old House and Ask This Old House scored a total of six nominations – including second year in a row both shows were nominated for “Outstanding Lifestyle Program.” Last year, Ask This Old House took home its first Emmy. This Old House and Ask This Old House have received 90 and 12 Emmy nominations respectively to date, and together the two shows have won 19 Emmys overall.
Additionally, This Old House: 40th Anniversary Celebration was nominated in four categories:
- Outstanding Special Class Special
- Outstanding Writing for a Special Class Special
- Outstanding Directing Special Class
- Outstanding Single Camera Editing
The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production. The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards will be presented in a two-hour special on Friday, June 26 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).
