Lufthansa and Virgin Atlantic now let passengers share the location of lost luggage.

Support for Apple’s Share Item Location feature, introduced with iOS 18.2 last December, continues to expand. Following announcements from airlines like United and Delta last year, Lufthansa Group airlines -- which includes Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings -- and Virgin Atlantic will now let passengers share the location of missing baggage with their customer support teams, potentially expediting a reunion.

Satechi’s M4 Mac Mini hub is now available.

Last month, Satechi confirmed its Mac Mini M4 Stand & Hub would be available starting on February 17th, 2025, but it turns out you won’t have to wait that long. The hub is available now through Satechi’s online store for $99.99, with free two day shipping in the US.

It will only be available in limited quantities today. You can still preorder the hub if it sells out, but it won’t ship until sometime in March.

Apple could upgrade its iCloud calendar with ‘Confetti.’

In his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman writes that the PowerBeats Pro 2 earbuds are preparing to launch on February 11th, with heart-rate monitoring as previously rumored, and also about a new iCloud feature.

Apparently called Confetti internally, it’s an invite service for events like parties and meetings, which could be tied to a “broader” reworking of Apple’s calendar app. It certainly sounds easier than working out the issues with launching AR glasses.

If you’ve wanted to read more, Apple has released the first eight chapters of The You You Are as a 39-page ebook and an hour-long audiobook narrated by Chernus, as spotted by MacRumors. Both versions are available to download through Apple Books now for free.
