Today is the Seventy Sixth Anniversary of the Birthday of The King.
The King this morning visited the Coronation Food Project Hub in Deptford, Unit 4, Deptford Trading Estate, Blackhorse Road, London SE8, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), Dame Martina Milburn and the Baroness Casey of Blackstock (Co-Chairmen of the Coronation Food Project), Ms Dori Dana-Haeri (Chairman of Development Commitment, Coronation Food Project), the Executive Director of King Charles III Charitable Fund (Ms Nikki Jeffery), the Chief Executive Officer of the Felix Project (Ms Charlotte Hill) and the Mayor of London (the Rt Hon Sadiq Khan).
His Majesty, escorted by the Chairmen, met representatives and supporters of five Coronation Food Project Hubs located across the United Kingdom, representatives of surplus food distribution organisations, and manufacturers and supermarket retailers of the Food Alliance Sourcing.
Having met beneficiaries, members of staff, volunteers and local schoolchildren, The King spoke via video link to representatives of the Coronation Food Project in Liverpool, before officially opening Deptford and Liverpool Coronation Food Project Hubs.

The Prince of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, today visited Simon Community, the Foyer, 3-5 Malone Road, Belfast, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Dame Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle).

His Royal Highness afterwards met representatives of the Northern Ireland Creative Industries and young people learning screen industry skills at Ulster University, York Street, Belfast, and was received by Mr Shane Quinn (Deputy Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast).

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, British Paralympic Association, and The Duchess of Edinburgh today visited Stoke Mandeville Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Mandeville Road, Aylesbury, and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire (Countess Howe).
His Royal Highness, Patron, British Paralympic Association, and Her Royal Highness, Patron, British Wheelchair Basketball, this afternoon visited British Wheelchair Sports Foundation (WheelPower) at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Guttmann Road, Aylesbury.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening held a Dinner to mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of International Special Projects.
