Summer is around the corner and swimmers are welcome to return to public pools from tomorrow.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that pools will reopen in phases upon completing repairs.
Between next month and October, all swimming pools under the LCSD except Mui Wo Swimming Pool will be open daily from 6am to 10pm for three sessions, with two one-hour breaks between the sessions.
The Mui Wo Swimming Pool will open at 8.30am to keep in line with the ferry schedule and will also have two one-hour breaks between sessions. Kowloon Tsai Swimming Pool in Kowloon City District, which was closed for maintenance, is expected to be reopened around 2024/2025.
Among the 17 pool complexes, the ones with heated facilities will continue to operate between tomorrow and April 15, while the ones with non-heated facilities start service after April 16.
