480,000 AMI meters installed

Islamabad : Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has installed over 480,000 Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI meters) in Rawalpindi City and Cantonment circles till December 2024 against total target of 1.2 million.

Project Director AMI Mohsin Raza Gilani said AMI meters are being installed on all industries and high losses feeders throughout the Iesco region to get better results.
