LAHORE : The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has expanded free Wi-Fi services to 11 districts of the province.
Free Wi-Fi services are available over 200 locations in Lahore. Now some 270 Wi-Fi hotspots are operational, providing internet access to citizens.
In addition to Lahore, the Wi-Fi services have been activated in Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Gujrat, Jhelum, Attock, Sahiwal, Okara, and Murree. According to a spokesperson for the PSCA, more than 13 million users have already consumed over 265 TB of data. Citizens are benefiting from the free Wi-Fi service. Under the Chief Minister's directives, the province is being transformed into a digital one.
