Shangla Press Club, union get new office-bearers

ALPURI: Aftab Hussain was re-elected as president and Fazal Subhan general secretary of the press club while Muhammad Shah Sajid and Sohail Hassan chosen president and general secretary of the Shangla Union of Journalists in the elections held on Sunday.

The newly elected office-bearers of the Shangla Press Club includes Nokhar as senior vice-president, Gohar Ali Khan VP, Sardar Ali as deputy general secretary, Ismat Ali Khan joint secretary, Iftikhar Hussain as information secretary and Sohail Hassan as finance secretary.

The Shangla Union of Journalists also elected new office-bearers with Muhammad Shah Sajid as president, Anwar Hussain VP, Raza Shah SVP, Sohail Hassan as general secretary, Muhammad Younas DGS, Abrar Hussain as joint secretary, Sabir Hussain

Shah as information secretary, and Sohail as finance secretary.The elections of the Shangla Press Club and Union of Journalists were held under the supervision of Haji Waqif Shah Advocate, the president of the Shangla Bar Association.
