LAHORE: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will actively participate in the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s (TDAP) WEXNET 2025 exhibition, scheduled to take place at the Lahore Expo Centre from today (January 10) to January 12, 2025.
FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh and Vice President & Regional Chairman Zaki Aijaz announced that the organisation, in collaboration with women chambers, women associations and women entrepreneurs, will leverage the three-day event to promote women-led businesses and foster trade opportunities.
During a meeting of the FPCCI Standing Committee for Handicrafts and the Handicrafts Association of Pakistan, FPCCI officials underscored the importance of WEXNET 2025 as a platform to showcase the creativity, skills and entrepreneurial capabilities of women.
They expressed optimism that the event would significantly contribute to trade development and open new avenues for women entrepreneurs. The exhibition will feature participation from numerous women-led brands, business organisations, and institutions. It aims to provide women entrepreneurs with opportunities to expand their networks, promote their businesses and present their products on an international stage.
FPCCI officials reaffirmed their commitment to empowering women in business and strengthening their economic position. They added that fostering women’s business development remains a key priority for the organisation, as it continues to support initiatives that enhance opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
