A fire broke out once again at Rimpa Plaza, located on MA Jinnah Road, on Thursday, damaging offices and warehouses.
The incident occurred on the first floor of the multi-storey building, which houses offices and warehouses for various companies. The fire was quickly extinguished by a single fire tender, preventing it from spreading and causing major damage. Authorities noted that a similar fire had been reported at Rimpa Plaza on December 3. Following the incident, investigations were underway to determine the cause of the repeated fires and to improve safety measures.
As soon as the fire was reported, authorities dispatched a fire and rescue team, along with an ambulance and a fire brigade truck, to the scene. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. A massive fire on December 3 had destroyed two floors of the building and severely damaged two others. Around 100 people were safely evacuated during that blaze, which started around noon and took several hours to bring under control. Several shops, cabins, and warehouses were destroyed in that fire.
