There were two notable upsets by Pocket Power and Dil Nasheen, while Royal Salute maintained its reputation in the third race. The opening race saw a dramatic upset as Pocket Power defied the odds to secure a victory. Favourite Salaar was relegated to third place, while the lesser-known Moon Light took second.
