Chilling footage shows a Mississippi single mum calling her husband ‘incredible’ amid their divorce - before he ‘killed her just days later’.

Brandon Sheffield, 40, allegedly shot his soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Sheffield, 30, and then turned the weapon on himself in an apparent murder-suicide. The tragedy unfolded in the 300 block of Toulon Street, in Bradon, East of Jackson, at around 7.15 am on December 28.

The horrific incident came just days after Jennifer had taken to TikTok to heap praise on her husband for being supportive during their divorce. She said on the now haunting clip, posted on December 10: “So, [I’m] about to be a newly single mom, and I am in the middle of divorce. My husband is being incredible, though, really and truly … we’re working together. Everything’s great, we’re splitting everything down the middle.

“Everything is good, it is a very civil divorce, with our daughter in mind, and I really appreciate that.” Jennifer also said Brandon planned to play a part in their child’s upbringing. She continued: “He will be helping with her, he will be supporting her… So essentially, I’m really thankful for that, and that I will not have to worry so much about supporting her.”

But she also revealed her fears about the looming separation, chillingly saying she was “a little scared” about the future. Jennifer added: “I will be on a very limited income, with buying a new house and paying a mortgage and all that stuff… I’ve never done this before, I’ve never been on my own before.

“So if you have any tips, saving money, making money, anything like that, I’d really appreciate it… If you just have any tips, like, I’d really appreciate it, cause I’m a little scared right now.”

TikTok users who spotted the post revealed their shock and sadness at Jennifer’s loss. One wrote: “Are we all here because we heard the awful news that she is an angel now. Her family I cannot even imagine the pain and shock of this.”

Another added: “How scary is it that she had absolutely nooooo clue that he would snap on her? She legit thought he was being cooperative.” A further user agreed, saying: “This is heartbreaking. No signs. No warnings. He truly set her up. Rest in paradise sweet girl. Prayers for her family and her daughter.”

Jennifer’s relative Brian Sheffield has since set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the couple’s children. It says: “My precious nieces lost their beautiful mother Jennifer and their father, my little brother Brandon. So many have been praying for our family and have reached out wanting to help and our only goal is to support the girls.

“There’s no handbook on how to navigate such a tragedy and we’re doing our best to figure it out… All funds raised will help provide for their immediate needs and will also ensure they have the support needed to heal moving forward.”
