Lily Allen embarked on an undercover mission to discover if her husband was using dating apps, according to reports.

The singer allegedly experienced "agony" upon finding out her Stranger Things star husband David Harbour had a profile on a top-secret dating app. Lily also joined Raya – an app for public figures looking for love. However, she didn't use the app for romance.

Instead, the 39-year-old created a profile to conduct a sting operation to uncover her husband's rumored affairs. The couple initially met on the app in 2019 and subsequently deactivated their accounts, but it's suggested David later rejoined it.

A source has alleged Lily searched for women on the dating app and cross-referenced them with the women David follows on his public Instagram account. They said the singer was trying to "figure out who he was seeing."

A source claimed to The Mail on Sunday, "Lily only rejoined Raya to try to figure out whether he was seeing someone. Lily has never even looked at anyone since she met David. She is devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago. He was meant to be on holiday with her in Kenya over Christmas."

Neither David nor Lily have made any statements about their current relationship status, but according to reports, David's online profile describes him as "visiting New York from Atlanta" and notes that he is a "closet nerd that plays tough guys on your TV."

Sources close to Lily believe David has been "open to meeting new people for some time now." Lily's secret detective work uncovered that David was said to be in India last week and was reportedly spotted with another woman at a temple in the Himalayan foothills. In contrast, Lily took off for a safari getaway with her daughters, enduring the festive season without her partner.

Lily and David made their red carpet debut at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 19, 2020. They officially tied the knot on September 7, 2020, in Las Vegas, complete with an Elvis Presley impersonator leading the ceremony.
