Tom Holland and Zendaya get matching tattoos as star debuts massive engagement ring

Tom Holland and Zendaya's bold debut of an engagement ring at the Golden Globes was paired with another sign of their everlasting love.

Fans were quick to clock a small detail which stole the attention from the massive rock on Zendaya's hand. The actress stunned as she made her way on the red carpet, wearing a gorgeous burnt orange and shimmering, golden dress. The strapless ensemble was accessorized with a gleaming, glittering necklace and an additional ring. She donned a short, wavy bob as she gave the camera a smoldering look.

However, a small tattoo peeked out from her dress on her side, just by her breast. It appeared to be a sweet "t" tattoo, seemingly standing for Tom. As it turns out, Zendaya wasn't alone in the cosmetic mark.

According to TMZ, Tom got a matching "z" inked on his rib cage. They reportedly had the art done at Boston Tattoo Company in M.A. with Zendaya's mom coming with them for her own tattoo. The artist gave them a discount, lowering the shop minimum from $150 to $100.

TMZ reported on Jan. 6 that Tom proposed between Christmas and New Year's in "a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States." A source told the publication: "Tom didn't make a huge show of the engagement -- it wasn't a big, over-the-top proposal -- instead, it was very romantic and intimate."

They added, "The family wasn't there ... it was just a sweet moment between Tom and Zendaya," At the Golden Globes on Sunday, the Challengers star (nominated for her role in Challengers) displayed a massive rock on her finger separate from her Bvlgari jewelry-adorned look. The luxury brand did not identify that specific ring in a press release but highlighted their necklace with an oval paraiba tourmaline 48 carats diamonds with matching earrings and ring (on her other hand), suggesting the second ring could be personal to Zendaya.

Journalist Amy Kaufman reported that a recently-engaged Times reporter pointed to her ring finger while gesturing towards Zendaya. The 28 year old star responded by "responded by flashing her own bling on her left hand, doing a sort of jazz-fingers motion."

When asked directly if she was engaged, Zendaya "kept showing her ring, smiled coyly and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously." according to Kaufman.
