Judy Greer Gives Her Dodo Dream Date The Ultimate Surprise

When Judy Greer found out she was going on a Dodo Dream Date, she decided she wanted to give the sweet pup the ultimate surprise — a white Christmas in Los Angeles.

Judy couldn’t contain her joy when she met Missy, a mama dog who had been single for nine months. Missy arrived at the shelter with her puppies, who all got adopted while Missy was left waiting.

“Well, I think you’ll have an easy time finding a home,” Judy told Missy. “I sure do!”

Once they had finished with introductions and a little get-to-know-you time, Judy and Missy moved on to the next activity: wrapping presents that Missy could take with her once she finally found her forever home. Judy even got Missy her own knitted stocking to put all of the wrapped presents in.

“She is very inquisitive, which I think is a great trait,” Judy said as the pair wrapped presents together.

While they worked, Judy talked about some of her favorite holiday traditions, like watching Christmas movies. She actually has a new holiday movie called “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” that she’s so excited for everyone to see.

After the present-wrapping, Judy took some time to give Missy some scratches, and even managed to hit just the right spot. Then, they decided to paint an ornament that Missy could take to her forever home along with her stocking and presents. Judy decorated a cute snowflake with white, blue and gold sparkles, then presented it to Missy for the final say.

“Let’s see if you like your ornament,” Judy said. “What do you think? Do you like it? Do you love it?”

Before the date was over, Judy had one final surprise for Missy — a whole flurry of “snow” to get them both in the holiday spirit.

“It’s a holiday miracle that in Los Angeles, California, it’s snowing,” Judy said.

Judy and Missy had the best time together on their date, and Judy has hope that Missy will find her forever home in time for the holidays.
